    THE PROBLEM

Why SaaS evidence is so hard to keep current

Checking a SaaS app's security settings usually means logging in, clicking through menus and taking screenshots. Every platform names its settings differently and moves them around, so check lists go out of date quickly. Supplier questionnaire portals add hours of copy and paste on top, and by the time the audit starts the evidence is already stale.

    FEATURES

What OCC Companion does in your browser

Posture sweeps across your SaaS apps

Choose the SaaS platforms you want checked and Companion runs a posture sweep across their admin consoles, recording what is in place and what needs attention.

Check lists in each platform's own language

AI tailors each platform's check list using that platform's own terms and menu paths, so every check points to the right setting. The lists refresh twice a month, on the 1st and the 15th.

    Fixes settings where they live

When a compliance setting fails, Companion can fix it inside the SaaS admin console, so the change is made in the tool rather than added to a to-do list.

    Fills in questionnaire portals

Companion completes third-party security questionnaires in the requester's own portal, saving checkpoints so a long questionnaire can be paused and resumed where it left off.

    Finds vendors and captures evidence

As it works, Companion detects the vendors your organisation uses and captures evidence of each setting, ready to link to your controls.

Rolled out and controlled by admins

Admins grant access person by person and can force-install Companion through Google Workspace or Microsoft Intune. Ghost mode runs it in the background with no interface.

    FAQ

    OCC Companion: common questions

OCC Companion is OneClickComply's AI browser agent, delivered as a Chrome extension. It checks the security settings in the SaaS admin consoles you choose, fixes compliance settings, fills in questionnaire portals and captures evidence against your controls.

An API integration reads the data a vendor chooses to expose through its API. Companion works in the admin console itself, using each platform's own terms and menu paths, so it checks and fixes settings the way an administrator would. Both feed evidence into the same controls in OneClickComply.

Admins grant Companion access person by person from inside OneClickComply. You can force-install it through Google Workspace for Chrome browsers signed in to Workspace, or through Microsoft Intune for Chrome on Intune-enrolled Windows devices.

Ghost mode runs Companion in the background with no interface for the person using the browser. Automation actions are switched off while ghost mode is on, so Companion gathers information without changing anything.

Companion updates itself automatically from OneClickComply's published releases. Before it is given work, it must pass a tamper check that compares its own files against the published build.

AI tailors each platform's check list using that platform's terminology and menu paths. The lists refresh twice a month, on the 1st and the 15th, so the checks keep up as vendors change their admin consoles.
