    THE PROBLEM

Why your SaaS data needs its own backup

Microsoft and Google keep their services running, but under their shared responsibility models, protecting your own data from accidental deletion, ransomware or a bad sync is largely up to you. Without a separate backup, a deleted mailbox or a corrupted drive can be hard or impossible to get back.

    FAQ

    SaaS Backup: common questions

Microsoft keeps the service running, but recovering your data after deletion, ransomware or a mistake is largely your responsibility under its shared responsibility model. A separate backup gives you a copy you control.

The same applies to Google Workspace: Google runs the service, and you are responsible for protecting your own data. A separate backup protects you from accidental deletion and other data loss.

It is a managed backup service for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace data. If you also need your cloud provider infrastructure backed up, Cloud Provider Backups is a separate service in the 360° Security Stack.

ISO 27001:2022 Annex A control 8.13 requires backup copies of information to be kept and tested, and most other frameworks include a backup requirement. Because backup findings count towards control status, the evidence sits with the rest of your controls.

OneClickComply manages the service and delivers it with specialist security partners. You add it from inside the platform and see its findings there.
