    Audit Log

Audit trail software that shows who changed what, and when

OneClickComply includes audit trail software for IT, security and compliance leads who need a record of activity in their compliance platform. The Activity Log lists each action with who did it, what it touched and when, shows a before and after view of changes, and exports to CSV for your auditor.

    THE PROBLEM

Why change history is hard to prove at audit time

An audit log is how you answer the question of who changed a control, a policy or a task, and when. Without one, the answer depends on memory, chat history and screenshots. Auditors for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 look at how you monitor and log activity, so a missing record of changes means more time spent reconstructing events by hand.

    FEATURES

    How the Activity Log works

Who, what and when on every entry

Each entry in the Activity Log records the actor, the action taken, the type and name of the item it touched, and the time. Open it from the Governance section of the sidebar.

    Before and after diff viewer

Where an entry changed something, the diff viewer shows the earlier state next to the new one, with the fields that changed listed. You can see exactly what was edited rather than just that an edit happened.

    Filters and search

Narrow the log by action, by item type, by change type (create, update, delete or execute) and by free text search. The backend also supports filtering by date range.

    Summary cards

Summary cards at the top of the page count log entries for tasks, vendors, detections, evidence, integrations and risks. Select a card to filter the list to that type. The totals reflect the whole log, not just the filtered view.

    CSV export

Export the log to CSV for an auditor, a manager or an offline review. Apply filters first to export a narrower slice of the log.

    Retention set by plan

How long activity is kept is set by your plan, so availability depends on plan. Ask the team during a demo what retention applies to yours.

    FAQ

    Audit Log: common questions

Audit trail software keeps a time-ordered record of who did what in a system. In OneClickComply the Activity Log records the actor, action, item and time for activity in your organisation, so you can review changes later.

Each entry shows who acted, what the action was, the type and name of the item affected and when it happened. Where something was changed, a before and after diff shows what was edited.

Yes. You can filter by action, item type and change type, and search by text. The backend also supports filtering by date range.

Yes. The Activity Log exports to CSV. If you have filters applied, the export reflects them, which is useful when an auditor asks about one area or one period.

An audit log is useful evidence for the logging and monitoring themes in ISO 27001 and SOC 2, because it shows who changed what and when. It does not replace the controls themselves, and your auditor decides what evidence they accept.

Retention is set by your plan, so availability depends on plan. Check the retention for your plan with the team before you rely on it for a long audit window.
