    The evidence guidance field tells whoever owns a control what to collect, which keeps your own requirements as clear as a published standard.

    Creating a framework does not switch it on for your organisation. You add its controls first and opt your organisation in afterwards.

    Sits beside your other standards

    Once your organisation has opted in, a bespoke control set is managed in the same platform as the standards you already follow, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 or Cyber Essentials.

    Limits set by your plan

    The number of custom frameworks and custom controls you can create is capped, and the caps depend on plan. Availability depends on plan, so check yours before you plan a large build.

    Custom Compliance Frameworks: common questions

    A custom compliance framework is a set of controls you define yourself, rather than one published by a standards body. In OneClickComply you create it with Add Framework, add its controls, then opt your organisation in to track it.

    Open Standards and choose Add Framework to create the framework, then use Add control for each requirement. Once the controls are in place, opt your organisation in to the framework.

    Each control has a reference, a title, a category, a description and evidence guidance. The evidence guidance tells your team what to collect to show the control is met.

    The platform supports mappings between controls, and the app shows cross-mapped controls on a control, read-only. The app does not currently let you edit mappings yourself, so do not assume your own custom controls will be cross-mapped.

    Compliance framework software tracks the controls in each standard or bespoke control set, along with the evidence and tasks behind them. It gives you one view of where you stand, instead of a spreadsheet per framework.
