    Compliance Task Management

Compliance task management software that gives every control an owner and a due date

OneClickComply includes compliance task management for IT, security and compliance leads who need to track the work behind each framework. The Tasks page lists every task with a status, a P1 to P4 priority, one assignee and a due date, and tasks are created automatically when you adopt a framework, as well as from detections, questionnaires, audits and AI suggestions.

    4 statuses
To Do, In Progress, In Review, Complete
    P1 to P4
    priority on every task
    One assignee
    accountable for each task
    THE PROBLEM

Why compliance to-do lists stall before the audit

Compliance work is a long list of small jobs: fix a setting, review an access list, upload a record, renew a certificate. When the list lives in a spreadsheet or a chat thread, nobody is sure who owns what, which jobs are overdue or what happened to the one raised last quarter. Auditors then ask for the history of how a gap was closed, and it has to be rebuilt from memory. Issue tracking built for compliance keeps each job, its owner, its status and its trail in one place.

    FEATURES

    How compliance task tracking works

    Four statuses, one board

Each task is To Do, In Progress, In Review or Complete. Switch between a list and a board view to see where work is stuck.

    P1 to P4 priority

Rank tasks from P1 (critical) to P4 (low), so the urgent fixes are handled before the housekeeping.

    One assignee per task

Every task has a single accountable owner, so there is no doubt who is responsible. Assign tasks one at a time or in bulk, and assignees are notified in the app and by email.

    Tasks created for you

Adopting a framework seeds its tasks. Tasks also arrive from detections, questionnaires, audits and AI suggestions, and each one shows its source: Manual, Detection, Questionnaire, Audit, AI suggested or Recurring.

    Recurring tasks

Set a task to repeat daily, weekly, monthly and so on, for jobs such as access reviews that need doing again and again.

    Detail, sub-tasks, activity and relationships

Each task opens with Details, Sub-tasks, Activity and Relationships tabs. Sub-tasks on grouped tasks are the individual detections behind them, and the Activity tab keeps the history of changes. You can also save a filtered view, mark a task out of scope with a reason and, on plans that include AI task templates, ask for an AI-generated draft that can be saved as evidence.

    FAQ

    Compliance Task Management: common questions

Compliance task management is tracking the individual jobs that keep you compliant, such as fixing a setting or reviewing access, with an owner, a priority, a status and a due date for each. In OneClickComply this is the Tasks page, where tasks move from To Do to In Progress, In Review and Complete.

It works as issue tracking software for compliance work: tasks have a priority, one assignee, a status, an activity history and a board view. It is built around frameworks, controls and detections rather than software development tickets.

Tasks are created automatically when you adopt a framework, and they also arrive from detections, questionnaires, audits, AI suggestions and recurring schedules. You can add your own tasks manually, and each task shows its source.

No. Each task has one assignee, so ownership is clear. For a grouped task, you can pass the assignee on to its open sub-tasks when you assign it.

Yes. You can select several tasks and assign them to one person at once, and you can set a task to recur on a schedule. The limit on open tasks depends on your plan.

It does not try to. Compliance task management in OneClickComply tracks the work tied to your frameworks, controls and detections. Engineering work in other tools stays where it is.
