    Compliance Notifications and Reminders

Compliance reminders and alerts that tell the right person what is due

OneClickComply sends compliance reminders and alerts for tasks, evidence, policies and vendor reviews, so nothing lapses between audits. It is for IT, security and compliance leads who want deadlines to reach people in an in-app inbox, with email for task and digest alerts, instead of living in a spreadsheet.

    THE PROBLEM

    Why compliance deadlines get missed

Most compliance work is a series of dates: a task that falls due, a piece of evidence that expires, a policy that needs its yearly review, a vendor that needs reassessing. When those dates are tracked by memory or by a personal calendar, one of them is missed, and the gap is found by the auditor rather than by your team. Reminders only help if they reach the person responsible, at the right time, without burying everyone in noise. OneClickComply raises them from the compliance records themselves and lets each person choose how they hear about them.

    FEATURES

How reminders and alerts work in OneClickComply

    A notifications inbox

The Notifications page lists what needs attention, with types for Task assigned, Overdue, Upcoming, Completed, Unread reminder and Evidence expiry. A bell menu gives quick access from anywhere in the platform.

    Evidence expiry reminders

Manually uploaded evidence that is approaching or past its expiry date triggers an in-app reminder, so stale evidence is refreshed before an audit rather than during it.

    Policy review and acknowledgement reminders

A review task is created on the task board 30 days before a published policy's next review date. Acknowledgement requests go out by email to all or selected staff, and can be sent again to selected people.

    Task and vendor review alerts

Assignees are told when a task is assigned to them or becomes overdue, and the creator hears when a task is completed. A vendor review task is created 30 days before the review date, and the vendor reviews alert flags when one is coming up.

    Per-person channel settings

In Settings, the Notifications tab gives each user a toggle for every notification channel. The overdue tasks channel also has a digest frequency, daily or weekly, and there is an optional weekly digest of activity across the organisation.

    Slack and Microsoft Teams messaging

Where your plan includes messaging, OneClickComply can send messages to Slack and Microsoft Teams through its integration layer, with channel discovery for connected accounts. Availability depends on plan, and not every in-app notification is posted to chat.

    FAQ

Compliance Notifications and Reminders: common questions

Compliance reminders are prompts that tell the right person a compliance action is due, such as a task deadline, an evidence expiry or a policy review. OneClickComply raises them from your tasks, evidence, policies and vendor records and delivers them to an in-app inbox, with email for task and digest alerts.

It notifies people about task assignments, overdue and completed tasks, evidence approaching or past expiry, policy updates, vendor reviews and framework status changes. There is also a weekly digest. Each of these can be switched on or off per person.

Yes. The Notifications tab in Settings has one toggle for each notification channel, so each user controls their own alerts. The overdue tasks channel also lets you choose a daily or weekly digest.

A review task is created on the task board 30 days before a published policy's next review date, and the same 30 day window applies to vendor reviews. That gives the policy owner a month to review, update and re-approve it.

Slack and Microsoft Teams messaging is available where your plan includes it, and connected accounts support channel discovery. Not every in-app notification is posted to chat, so the inbox and email remain the main places to look. Availability depends on plan.

Not at the moment. Reminders are driven by the due dates and expiry dates on your tasks, evidence, policies and vendor reviews, and tasks can recur on a schedule. There is no rule builder for creating bespoke reminders.
