Policy management software that takes every policy from draft to acknowledged

OneClickComply is policy management software for IT, security and compliance leads who need to write, approve, publish and review information security policies in one place. THE PROBLEM

Why policy records fall apart before the audit

A policy management system is how you show that your policies are approved, current and actually read. In many organisations policies sit in a shared drive with no clear owner, nobody remembers who approved the latest version, and acknowledgement is a reply-all email. Auditors for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 ask for exactly that proof, so gaps in the approval record or the review cycle turn into findings.

    FEATURES

How policy management works in OneClickComply

    A clear lifecycle

Each document in Documents moves through Draft, In Review, Approved and Published, with Archived for retired versions. Everyone can see where a policy stands.

    Approval on record

The platform records who submitted a policy for review, the reviewer who was asked, and who approved it and when. It flags approval by the policy's own author, and shows older approvals with no recorded approver as such.

    Versions and review dates

Every policy has a version, with a helper to bump it when you change the content, and a next review date. Policy review tasks are created on the task board 30 days before that date.

    Acknowledgement requests

Request acknowledgements by email from all active users or a chosen selection. Staff acknowledge on the policy with a timestamp, and you can send the request again to those who have not. Policy distribution depends on plan.

    Magic-link acknowledgement

Staff can also acknowledge through a public magic-link page, so they do not need to hunt for the policy inside the platform.

    Generate and export

Generate policies from auditor-written templates, then export them as PDF, DOCX or TXT for auditors, customers or offline use.

    FAQ

    Policy Management Software: common questions

Policy management software gives you one place to write, approve, publish, review and track acknowledgement of your policies. OneClickComply does this inside Documents, with a lifecycle, version history, review dates and staff acknowledgements.

Auditors typically want to see that each policy is approved, current and communicated to staff. A policy management system should hold the approval record, the version, the next review date and the acknowledgements in one place.

Each policy has a next review date. Thirty days before it arrives, a policy review task is created on the task board so the review is assigned work rather than something to remember.

You send an acknowledgement request by email to all active users or a selection, and can send it again to anyone who has not responded (distribution depends on plan). Staff acknowledge the policy, which records a timestamp, either in the platform or through a public magic-link page.

Yes. Policies can be exported as PDF, DOCX or TXT, so you can share a copy with an auditor, a customer or a colleague outside the platform.

It can generate policies from auditor-written templates, which is covered on the AutoComplete Policies page. You then review, approve and publish them through the same lifecycle as any other policy. Generation availability depends on plan.
